RICHARD HANAGE ASSOCIATES

On leaving Durham Business School in 2003, I set up in business to continue my interest in helping small businesses to start up, survive and grow. 

Initially I expected to do a mix of training, consultancy, mentoring, and even sailing instruction. However, nearly all my time is now spent on running development workshops for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises). This has now become the core business:

'Training and developing people involved in SMEs, mainly through practical workshops'.

The business has four special selling points:

• DUBS Experience: I have 12 years experience of working with SMEs at the internationally famous Durham Business School (DUBS). All the Associates have worked on DUBS projects.
  
• Practical workshops: Based on personal knowledge of actually running several small businesses.
  
• Accreditation: I am qualified to design, deliver and assess courses to Masters degree standard, where required.
  
• Associates: The 'Associates' are very experienced in their own specialist fields, and help me cover all aspects of SME development.
